Chemical Peels

Aesthetic Treatments

A brighter layer, just beneath the surface.

Chemical peels are one of the simplest and most effective ways to refresh your skin. By gently exfoliating the top layer, they help reveal smoother, clearer, and more even-toned skin underneath.

At Treeline Aesthetics, our peels are carefully selected to suit your skin type, concerns, and goals, no harsh formulas, no downtime you can’t manage. Whether you’re tackling pigmentation, congestion, or just looking to reset your skin, we’ll guide you toward the right option for you.

What Chemical Peels Can Help With

  • Dull, tired-looking skin
  • Uneven skin tone or pigmentation
  • Mild acne or congestion
  • Fine lines and rough texture
  • Sun damage or age spots
  • General skin maintenance

Common treatment areas:

  • Face
  • Neck
  • Décolletage
  • Back or shoulders (for acne-prone skin)

How It Works

Chemical peels use safe, medical-grade acids to exfoliate the skin, either superficially or slightly deeper depending on the type. This encourages fresh skin cell turnover and removes build-up that’s been sitting on the surface, causing dullness or clogged pores.

Different peels target different concerns. You may only need a light, glow-boosting peel or a course of treatments to tackle pigmentation or breakouts more deeply.

Our Approach

We don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all skincare routine. That’s why every peel starts with a skin assessment and consultation.

We’ll explain what’s suitable for your skin right now and just as importantly, what isn’t. There’s no pressure to commit, and no push for treatments that won’t genuinely help.

What to Expect

  • Appointment time: 30 – 45 minutes
  • Discomfort: Tingling or warmth, but very manageable
  • Downtime: Usually mild (a few hours to a couple of days depending on peel strength)
  • Results: Gradual improvement over several days
  • Course: May be a one-off or a series of 3 – 6 sessions for deeper concerns

Aftercare Advice

  • Avoid active skincare (retinol, AHAs, BHAs) for at least 5 days
  • Keep the area well moisturised and protected with SPF
  • No scrubbing, exfoliating, or picking at the skin
  • Avoid steam rooms, saunas, and intense workouts for 48 hours
  • Some light flaking or dryness may occur, that’s normal and short-lived

Frequently Asked Questions About Chemical Peels

Not always. Light peels may cause minimal flaking, while stronger peels can lead to more noticeable shedding. We’ll explain exactly what to expect based on the peel you have.

You might feel tingling, warmth, or slight tightness during the peel, but it’s generally very manageable. The treatment is short and well-tolerated.

Yes. Most people experience mild redness or a tight feeling for a few hours, but nothing that stops you getting on with your day.

For general glow and maintenance, a single peel might be enough. For acne, pigmentation, or texture, we may recommend a course of 3–6 treatments spaced a few weeks apart.

It’s best to avoid makeup for at least 24 hours to let your skin settle and breathe. We’ll give you full guidance on what to use and what to avoid, after your treatment.

Considering a Peel?

If your skin feels like it needs a clean slate or a little extra help, a chemical peel can be a great place to start, especially when combined with other treatments or a tailored skincare plan.
